As we closed a remarkable year, we came together to celebrate our journey, our milestones, and the dedication of our Governing Council. 💛
The End of Year Luncheon brought us into one space where friendship, leadership, and vision flowed easily. It was a moment to reconnect, reflect, and recharge as the custodians of the Alumni Association.
The day carried laughter, memories, conversations, and inspiration. We shared highlights of the year and looked ahead into the National Calendar of Events for 2026.
Welcome home, leaders. Your presence completed the circle.
Theme was AFRICAN WEAR

Welcome remarks by
Dr. Peter Moindi 1990, Chairman
Â
He welcomed all members, class reps, chapter reps. And remarked it was a special day and last activity in the year. It was the first council that included the chapter officials. The first Class Reps meeting was held on 26th Oct 2024 and the name governing council was proposed at last year’s SGM on 26th Oct 2026.
This council has grown through some steps.
In 2023 there were several proposals for class cohort officials to meet. One physical meeting and 2 online meetings. This was implemented in 2024 with the executive committee and the class reps. Today we have the full council meeting.
In 2024 there were three major reunions i.e. Eldoret reunion, Nakuru reunion and Nairobi reunion.
In 2025 Chapter elections were held bringing a full governing council. Chairman thanked all members who were present and recognized the chapter leaders.
Eldoret Chapter 2 leaders
Nairobi Chapter 6 leaders
Nakuru Chapter 2 leaders
The amended constitution recognizes the chapters to run activities independently. He thanked all year cohort leaders representing their classes and recognized the year cohort representatives. Class cohorts  were recognized that contributed to the endowment fund to clear the arrears of Ksh. 467,500  both by general activities and individual class cohort activities. Members were appreciated for continuous support. The executive committee roles were appreciated to make alumni responsive to member aspirations contributing to policies and sharing of joint strategies and funding that followed functions. Also in rallying members to participate in alumni activities and the opportunity granted for members to input in the budget and ways of enhancing collective aspirations. Reviewing the activities for the following year, every chapter member, class cohort reps were welcomed to be the voice of the people they represented. They were encouraged to be part of the organization and collectively make the organization successful. Presently the Alumni is a member of COSSAK and compliant.
John Limo 2000, Liaison officer
The Alumni had participated in endowment fund targeting disadvantaged students.
The 1st ExCom had managed to touch a number of students. Individual alumni have been handpicked and taken through. We had all enjoyed subsidized education by the late patron, and teachers picked the best from the country and outside the country.
Career days was participated well by members to mentor the students and motivate students and seeing real time people and successful in various careers.
During Alumni Sunday the chaplain organized for the alumni to have a weekend with the students and impact the students sing with them and pray with them. This was the first Alumni Sunday including all members of alumni being able to participate.
It’s the Principals wish that more alumni take part in this weekend and utilize career weekends to be a whole weekend affair.
John Limo was happy to be here again and interact with the governing council that would provide the much needed leadership make the alumni association vibrant, participate in activities and support the Alma Matta
The alumni can engage and advise the school and give them the support they need from time to time to excel. The success is based on alumni’s commitment and effort in rallying the members to the vision and mission of the important social group.
