Today, Kapsabet Girls High School marked a century of resilience, progress, and transformation, and I was deeply honored to be part of this historic celebration.
Representing our Eldoret Chapter Chairman, Dr. Kimeli Korir, and our National Chairman, Dr. Moindi, I attended the event by special invitation in my capacity as Secretary of the Eldoret Chapter and National Executive Committee Editorial Lead, MHS-Kabarak Alumni.
It was a rich and reflective day, offering profound insights into our shared heritage as alumni associates, from the legacy of the AIC church, the significance of the school uniform, to the deep-rooted commitment of the Kapsabet Girls alumni to their alma mater and association.
The celebration was graced by an inspiring lineup of guests, including Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Miano, Governor of Nandi County Hon. Stephen Sang, PS Ambassador Prof. Bitok, Hon. Bernard Kitur (MP Nandi Hills), Prof. Loice Maru (BOM Chairperson), members of COSSAA (where our National Chair is a member), and a vibrant community of alumni, parents, teachers, students, and the people of Nandi County.
A highlight of the day was the launch of the abridged School and Alumni Magazine, an excellent publication that reflects the school’s journey and spirit. I wholeheartedly applaud the Editorial Team for such a well-curated piece of history and pride.
I also had the pleasure of consulting with Madam Nelly Mulema, Chairperson of the Kapsabet Girls Alumni Association, whose insights on chapter objectives and collaboration were invaluable.
Here’s to more co-creation, deeper partnerships, and a steadfast commitment to excellence.
