Yesterday evening, I had the honour of representing our Alumni Chairman, Dr. Peter Moindi, at the Consortium of Secondary Schools Associations of Kenya (COSSAK) End-of-Year Dinner, held at the Nairobi Serena Hotel.

The Guest of Honour was Mr. Geoffrey Odundo, Group Managing Director & CEO of Nation Media Group, while COSSAK President Mr. Maurice Nduranu, Chair Emeritus of the Alliance Old Boys Association, delivered a powerful address on leadership, continuity, and institutional legacy.

The evening brought together Alumni Chairpersons from secondary schools across Kenya, men and women who steward tradition while shaping the future. Through music, dinner, conversation, and dance, the gathering reflected the enduring role of alumni leadership in strengthening schools, mentoring the next generation, and safeguarding institutional memory.
It was deeply affirming to be in the presence of leaders committed not only to excellence, but to service and legacy beyond self.

Thank you, Chairman Dr. Moindi, for the opportunity to serve and for your mentorship throughout the year. Your leadership exemplifies the quiet power of guidance, trust, and continuity, values that sustain alumni movements and shape generations.
